Masila Falls is a tiered waterfall tumbling through dense Eastern Ghats forest, with the Masi Periasamy temple at the top. Quieter than Agaya Gangai, it’s a scenic stop — and the easy-to-reach lower stretches, sometimes called the Mini Falls, offer shallow, wadeable pools that make a favourite family picnic spot.
Good to know
- Best flow is during and just after the monsoon.
- Caution: streams here can swell quickly after upstream rain — do not enter the water if it looks muddy or fast.
- Visit the Masi Periasamy temple at the top while you’re here.
- Pack out your litter; help keep the falls clean.
